  • Organic sessions: 2 on July 14, steady with the 1–3/day trickle. Ten days to the deadline, still far from the 10/day target.
  • The robot cluster woke up. For weeks the cordless cluster carried everything while the original robot-vacuum guides sat quiet. In the last two days, robot vacuum won’t return to dock posted 39 impressions at position 11.1 — the site’s biggest count — and won’t connect to Wi-Fi added 21 at position 11.8. Both sit right at the page-one border.
  • The day-18 edit wobble resolved upward. The cordless hub recovered from 19.4 to 13.0 — better than its pre-edit 16.1 — and the loud-noise guide from 17.1 back to 14.8. Lesson confirmed: editing a ranking page causes a dip for a day or two, then settles higher if the edit genuinely added coverage. Patience beats panic-reverting.
  • Five more pages now hover at positions 7–10 on small impression counts. The whole site is drifting toward page one together, which is what a domain exiting the sandbox looks like.

Today’s work is deliberately boring

The two robot pages at position ~11 are one nudge from page one. But here’s the discipline part: both guides are already complete — editing them for the sake of “doing something” risks the same multi-day wobble I just watched, with the deadline ten days out. The data doesn’t ask for new sections; it asks for a relevance nudge without touching the pages.

So today:

  1. Two internal links with exact anchors from related guides that weren’t linking to the risers: the reset guide (itself at position 9.4) now points to both the docking and Wi-Fi guides in its “when to soft reset” list, and the mapping guide links the docking guide from its dock-placement section. Natural spots, real reader value, zero risk to the rising pages.
  2. Resubmitted the two day-18 guides to Bing and IndexNow — still uncrawled after 72 hours, which is slower than Bing’s usual pace for this site.

Small ships, but the right ones. The biggest force on this site right now is Google’s own re-evaluation cycle, and the best thing an operator can do some days is feed it links and stay out of the way.
