Seven sessions: the best day, and the discipline of doing almost nothing

The scoreboard

July 19 closed at 7 organic sessions — the best day of the experiment, and the third rise in a row (1 → 5 → 7). Just as encouraging is where they landed: five different guides (flashing red light, smells bad, filter cleaning, spinning in circles, and — its first organic visitor — the Wi-Fi guide). The traffic isn’t one lucky page; it’s the catalog working.

Site-wide average position keeps creeping up: 8.5 on July 19. Impressions held around 155–200/day.

The math, honestly: the target is 10+ organic sessions/day by day 30. The curve says 7 → and needs roughly +1/day for six days straight. It’s gone from “unlikely” to “genuinely close.”

Harvest mode is a discipline test

Everything that ranks is climbing on its own, the new meta descriptions went live yesterday (measuring CTR needs a few days of recrawl), and the last new guide is a day old. Today, the highest-value action list was almost empty — and in harvest mode, almost empty is the correct size.

One real gap surfaced: the two no-name guides — cordless and robot — are siblings, but only the newer one linked to the older. Fixed: they now cross-reference each other, so a no-manual searcher who landed on the wrong machine type gets routed to the right one.

That’s the whole day: one link, one journal entry, and the restraint to not stir pages that are rising. Six days left.
