Stop first if the smell is electrical

If the station smells burnt or smoky, stop using it. Stop charging and cleaning, and do not run the robot again to see whether the odor clears. The burning-smell guide covers that route and what to give the manufacturer. The ECOVACS manual also says not to use the OMNI Station if it is damaged, and that its power supply must not be repaired or used once damaged or defective.

Short answer: clean the water parts your manual names

Roborock robot RRE0VSP with dock EWFD49HRR

Before maintenance, switch off the Roborock RRE0VSP and unplug the EWFD49HRR dock. For the dirty-water tank, empty it, fill it with clean water, close and latch the lid, shake, empty it again and reinstall it. Remove the cleaning tray, rinse it and its filter, then reinstall it. Clean and air-dry the mop cloths. Before using this dock, install both tanks, the dust container cover, dust bag and cleaning tray. Avoid excess cleaning solution. Its cleaning notes say to use only cold water to avoid deforming the tank, and to wipe away water marks on the tank’s outside with a dry cloth before reinstalling it.

For drying, the Roborock app can change how long the dock dries and can switch auto-drying off.

eufy S1 Pro

The eufy odor page directs owners to scrub the robot dirty-water tank and its filter, rinse the tank, and dry it before reinstalling it. The roller mop is soaked in hot water for five minutes without cleaning solution, reattached, run through the Mop-washing function, and dried completely before the robot is used again. The dustbin needs brushing on both sides of its dustbin filter and high-performance filter, then drying before reinstallation. The base filter tray and base dirty tank are removed and cleaned. The page sets the drying level to standard and recommends eufy Cleaning Solution for normal cleaning.

Roomba Combo 10 Max with AutoWash Dock

For Roomba Combo 10 Max AutoWash tank maintenance, securely latch both tanks before reinstalling them. The clean tank is rinsed with warm water, and mild soap and a sponge may be used for stubborn debris. The dirty tank is rinsed and emptied as needed. When it goes back in, the article says to leave it empty.

For the mop pad, the article gives two options. A pad can be washed thoroughly in warm water, or put on the warm cycle of a machine and then air-dried. It must not go in a dryer. In normal use, the dock washes and dries the pad after the robot docks. Drying takes a few hours. Pad washing and drying can be started or stopped in the iRobot Home app, and the robot should not be interrupted while pad washing runs.

The pad washing roller, pad washing basin and liquid overflow basin are cleaned when visibly dirty, once a month, or as the app indicates. The basins are wiped out with a dry cloth, and the drainage port is checked for obstructions. The filter and roller are washed under warm water and patted dry.

ECOVACS DEEBOT DDX57 with station CH2453B

Before maintenance, switch off the ECOVACS DDX57 and unplug the CH2453B station. Remove, clean and reinstall the base and mop washing tray, seating the tray correctly. Wipe water off the tank exterior before fitting it, and use only official ECOVACS cleaning solution.

For a tray-full drainage alert, check the dirty tank seating and its two sealing plugs. Follow the app drainage checks; if draining fails, check for debris between tank and station. Clear obstructions from the tray suction port and rinse a dirty tray under running water. With no water in the tray base, check whether the floating ball is stuck; remove the tray to reposition it. If the alert persists after these checks, power-cycle the station; contact support if it continues. For long storage, keep tanks and mops dry.

Samsung Bespoke Jet Bot Combo with Clean Station

Before cleaning the Samsung Bespoke Jet Bot Combo, hold Start/Stop for seven seconds to enter Sleep mode; unplug the Clean Station before cleaning it. Pull the waste tank out by its top handle, open its lid, empty and clean it, then secure the lid hook before reinserting it. Empty both tanks before removing the station bottom cover.

The mops and spin boards are cleaned with water and the included cleaning tool. The station exterior is wiped with water only. The guide says not to use detergent on the washboard or the exterior. For descaling, about 3.5 ounces of citric acid is diluted in about 4 cups of water and added to the clean tank, and the guide recommends this once a year. Use only citric acid and water, and follow the linked Samsung guide’s dedicated descaling and rinse cycles. The washboard, bottom cover, motor filter and dustbin must dry completely in a shaded area.

Cleaning products and water temperature

Use the temperature specified for your exact model and component. Do not apply the eufy S1 Pro hot-water roller soak to another model’s tank.

When to stop and contact support

Stop using a burnt-smelling station and follow the burning-smell guide. Do not use a damaged or malfunctioning ECOVACS DDX57/CH2453B station; arrange manufacturer or service-agent repair. For persistent S1 Pro odor after cleaning, contact eufy. Include your model and the care already performed.
