Roborock

S5 Max. The manual recommends cleaning the cloth after 60 minutes of mopping to keep the cloth performing well. It also recommends removing and washing the cloth bracket and emptying the water tank frequently to prevent odors or mildew (S5 Max manual). When mopping starts immediately, dampen the cloth and squeeze it dry before attaching it to the bracket. Remove the bracket when the robot is not mopping.

S7. For the VibraRise cloth, wet it, squeeze out the excess water, slide it along the attachment slot and press it firmly in place (S7 manual). The manual asks you to clean the cloth and air-dry it, because a dirty cloth affects mopping performance. When the robot is not mopping, remove the cloth mount. When the mount is attached, the robot lifts it to clean carpeted areas, and the app lets you avoid carpeted areas. By default, No-Mop Zones activate while the mount is in place. The manual also warns that a finger placed between the mount and the tank risks injury.

ECOVACS

DEEBOT DDX57 with OMNI Station. The manual identifies the robot as DDX57 in its technical specifications (OMNI Station manual). Its troubleshooting entry for pad plates that do not rotate lists incorrect installation and foreign objects blocking the plates. The corresponding instructions are to install the plates correctly, with a click confirming the fit, or clear the foreign objects. In its operating notes, the manual advises against frequent removal of the washable pads. Its setup instructions specify filling the Clean Water Tank to the max water level and locking both tank covers tightly before use. The Station refills the robot’s tank automatically. The manual specifies the official ECOVACS cleaning solution.

iRobot

Roomba 100/1000 Combo. The pad-care article describes fitting and maintenance: press the bin release button to remove the bin, detach the pad plate, lightly dampen the pad and attach it to the plate, then reattach the plate to the bin. It specifies hand-washing in cold water, air-drying and avoiding machine washing (100/1000 pad). For the Roomba 100/1000 Series Combo group, the solution page specifies 2.5 caps of Braava Jet Fresh liquid in the empty water tank, or 3 caps with an AutoEmpty Dock, followed by filling the tank with water. It also permits plain water and warns against hot water. Its general warning for iRobot products says unauthorized solutions may void the warranty and cause corrosion (approved solutions).

Roomba Combo 10 Max with AutoWash Dock. iRobot warns that Bona hardwood and hard-surface floor cleaners cause excessive foaming that could send water onto the floor and affect it (approved solutions).

Information to keep before contacting support

As a precaution, write down the selected mode and the room before contacting support, and check pad and holder references against the model with the robot off. As a precaution, do not force an attachment latch.
